Commenting on blogs (and in forums) is one of the most effective ways to bring traffic to your site/blog. But, have you ever taken the time to assess how to go about it to make it really effective. For example, should you post to many blogs, or frequent a few high traffic ones?
For about the last month, I’ve made a concerted effort to implement blog commenting as part of my marketing strategy. I try to do a certain number of comments per day (5). It usually doesn’t work out that way, but as I used to practically never leave comments anywhere, I’ve made a marked improvement. I’m anxious to see the results over time.
Anyway, for some “rules” I implemented on how to get the most back for my blog commenting buck, mosey on over to BloggingTips.com. It’s where you can find my musings every Wednesday at noon by the way.
SEO Writing Jobs/Freelance Writing Jobs (see this post for why I’ve started to list these).
Writer for Broadband Media Network
Off-site HR Newsletter Writer
Busy Company Seeking Writers for Contract Basis
Freelance Writers for Dental Magazine
Rental Property Blogger Needed (Work From Home)
Freelance Copy Editor
Savvy political blogger wanted
Freelance Coordinator (I thought about applying to this myself, but just don’t have the time to oversee it; it's a good opportunity for the right person.)
Communications Specialist - Writer (Note: I apply to these types of positions because big companies often keep freelancer information on file, especially when they don’t find exactly who they’re looking for via a FT job listing)

Copywriting and Marketing Blogger
DON’T FORGET! A little later today, I’m going to be sending out the newsletter. Sign up to get your copy if you already haven’t.

Blog Posting Rates: How Much Should You Charge for Blog Posting?
Five years ago, blog posting didn’t even exist as a popular freelance job. Now, it’s one of the new media jobs that’s growing in popularity, and one I added to my list of services as an SEO writer because clients kept asking me for it.
But, how much should you charge for it? That depends. Following are some things to consider when you are trying to decide what to charge for blog posting.
Read the rest here: 4 Guidelines for Setting Blog Posting Rates.
And on a completely unrelated, but fun, note . . . It's snowing here in Atlanta -- it's happended twice in one week -- a rarity in this part of the country (one I'm thoroughly enjoying). I'm off to enjoy the fireplace and watch a movie. Hope you're enjoying your weekend.
Sincerely,
