Commenting on blogs (and in forums) is one of the most effective ways to bring traffic to your site/blog. But, have you ever taken the time to assess how to go about it to make it really effective. For example, should you post to many blogs, or frequent a few high traffic ones?
For about the last month, I’ve made a concerted effort to implement blog commenting as part of my marketing strategy. I try to do a certain number of comments per day (5). It usually doesn’t work out that way, but as I used to practically never leave comments anywhere, I’ve made a marked improvement. I’m anxious to see the results over time.
Anyway, for some “rules” I implemented on how to get the most back for my blog commenting buck, mosey on over to BloggingTips.com. It’s where you can find my musings every Wednesday at noon by the way.
