25 Ways to Increase Blog Traffic & Search Engine Optimization

As I announced last week on this blog, I've had some incredible successes these past few months in my freelance writing career. I've been at this for 15+ years, and the renewed passion I feel for my career has made me want to work more, not less.

I now know why people like Bill Gates and Oprah work. It's not becuase they need the money; it's the love and challenge of their careers that drive them. (Now if I could only bring in their type of money . . . )

So, what does this have to do with today's post? Well, in light of my renewed career passion, I've started to do some weekend blogging. One of the best ways to use weekend blogging to increase your freelance writing success is to get in some marketing.

I ran across the following blog directories on the Fiercely Strategic blog at http://fiercelystrategic.blogspot.com/. While no phones are ringing, no IMs are popping up on your screen and no projects that need your attention today are on your desk, spend an hour or so registering your blog with these 25 blog directories to increase its traffic.

If you do no other marketing activity all week long, at least you will have done something to add to your freelance writing income.

Easy marketing for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Sincerely,
Yuwanda Black, Publisher
